Tocilizumab Treatment for Microvascular Inflammation and Chronic Active Antibody-mediated Rejection in Kidney Transplantation

85 adults with histologic chronic active AbMR on monthly tocilizumab 8 mg/kg IV. eGFR slope improved from -0.70 to -0.07 mL/min/1.73m2/month (difference 0.59, p=0.002). Summed DSA MFI was unchanged overall, though 14 of 65 DSA-positive patients (22%) had no detectable DSA at one year.
