Targeting IL-6 in antibody-mediated kidney transplant rejection

Status of IL-6-targeted therapy in AbMR. After a promising phase 2 placebo-controlled clazakizumab trial, the large phase 3 IMAGINE trial was terminated for futility at interim analysis in 2024. Investigator-initiated development continues in the smaller phase 3 INTERCEPT trial of tocilizumab.
