Rituximab in antibody-mediated rejection following kidney transplantation: clinical and pathological outcomes

56 recipients with AbMR or mixed rejection (Banff 2017), 31 given rituximab. The rituximab group had greater creatinine reduction (p=0.026), lower final creatinine (p=0.041) and significantly more regression of C4d positivity (p=0.001); the eGFR rise did not reach significance (p=0.052). BK viraemia was more frequent with rituximab (p=0.049).
