Since its founding in 1985, the Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation has been led by elected presidents from across the Arab region. Each president serves a defined term per the society's constitution and oversees the executive committee, congress planning, and the Arab Journal of Nephrology and Transplantation (AJNT).
